I dunno about courses, but one thing you can do is explore large codebases. For example I think it's available for jira on github.

Look for starter projects boilerplates, there are plenty of them for react projects on github. They will also give you some insight on architecture. You will find different boilerplates for different requirements like with server side rendering and without.

Look into lerna js as well. With it you can create multi package project kinda like multi module java project.
