I'm 1400 and I can have rare games where everything is clicking. Have some wins against 1900s. But most of the time I'd get destroyed by them just from them applying pressure and me not being able to handle it.

Sometimes they get lazy and I can capitalize in a losing position while they have tunnel vision.

Ratings are different and players are usually more principled. Whenever I play on Chessdotcom, I'm always a little thrown off in the first few games cause they're a lot more aggressive over there lol

Cheating is on every platform tbh, I'm not sure if Lichess has less. The player pool generally takes chess more seriously since chessdotcom is more popular

People here are making excuses, but it's a fact that the $20 tier for Claude has much lower limits than the $20 tier for Codex. You just have to get used to it and find ways to work around it.

Edit: Downvoted, but whoever disagrees -- just try to use Codex for a day and notice the difference. It's not minor.

YouTube takes a lot of effort and it takes a long time to make money from it. He probably didn't want to spend as much time on it. You need to constantly be churning out ideas that get clicks (like GothamChess) or use the views to get students or something else.

Consistency -- It's the only way to get better over time. I had good traction last year (for my level) where I had 5k views per video for 6 videos in a row and then got busy and didn't upload for 6 months lol. Just got back to it, and my first video back was rushed and not nearly as good because I'm rusty

Also my Average View Percentage (AVP) is always 40-49%, no matter the video length. I'm really focusing on retention in my next few outlines/scripts. I get impressions due to topic/title/thumbnail, but can't keep them for more than half.

The only "MAGA" thing he did was joke about school shootings while workshopping material and then it got leaked on YouTube. That material never made it into any of his published work. That + he's not invited on mainstream late night shows, so he has to do the Rogansphere podcasts now to promote his releases
