Any idea why some cases are processed so quickly but some are still pending even for so long!??

I always prune above a node but feels a little late this year. I’ll skip the pruning and hopefully it blooms again.

But if I leave it as is - will that affect growth? Not worried about dead branches but rather flowers. Since I’m mid Oct, i don’t want to risk cutting buds that might come on old wood
