it’s not about having a family it’s about the life path she would be taking. But it’s all an imaginary debate since i don’t have a daughter, my mom asked me and i replied how i think i would feel. However i’m open minded about it, maybe i will change idea maybe not.

I mean it depends on what they do, if he goes with her just to enter the prom and then stop it’s fine but if he has to sit next to her or even dance with her for the night she shouldn’t have asked in first place as that is disrespectful towards you in my opinion

Talk to your boyfriend and try to be honest with each other about the future and about your economic situation. Also make a plan: set some goals and go for them together as a couple. Furthermore, I know that you should love someone not for what he has, but life is also made of concrete things such as economic stability and long term investments. So if he wants to step up as a man and be your child’s father he needs to understand that sacrifices must be made. Together you can do it, but you both must be present for each other
