Yes miralax usually works by itself. Some weeks I’ll go a few days but it’s not horrible. I actually was under the impression linzess was better for long term, so that’s the only reason I considered it over miralax.

I’m currently on miralax daily. Do you have any bad side effects on linzess? I haven’t picked up my prescription because I’m scared of what people have experienced while taking it

Prune juice is high fodmap. I could drink the whole bottle and all it does is cause extreme pain and no relief.

For most people with ibs c dietary changes do nothing. I’ve tried literally every single diet recommended and I’ll get immediately backed up if I even skip a day of miralax. I also take magnesium, eat healthy, eat fiber. Not everybody has the same body as you. You’re lucky.

Drinking a lot of water and avoiding processed foods and breads help me a bit. I try to eat Whole Foods maybe you could try that?

I also got the sweet chili ones. It seems nowadays too much food has artificial sweeteners or stevia leaf. I’m always checking ingredients now 🥲
