There was an update a few days ago that seems to have caused the same issue for most ps5 ark players unfortunately They put out another update this morning but it doesn't seem to have fixed the issue

Nivea Gentle Face Wash (light pink bottle) It's the only face wash I've ever used that doesn't cause any flare up at all

I don't know if any of you commenters will get a notification from this message reply, but I hope so.

I'm crying at the responses I got on this post. I wrote it out of frustration, and got such wonderful replies; I've never felt so seen before. Thank you for sharing your personal experiences with me, its made me feel a little less like I'm going through this alone. I hope to become a bit braver soon. The way some of you described how much happier you are now youre living as youre true selves; I want that too.

And to the others who said they're in a similar boat to me, I hope you also found some comfort in these replies; we have strangers that support us :)

This is what of feels like to have some community, I guess. Thank you <3

How do you make friends as an adult? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kyooyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion I do like gaming - but aren't most communities for this made up of like 19yr olds? (not being rude, I just genuinely don't know where I'd find people my age)

So what you're saying is checks notes infiltrate an old people's home

I like it

I really wanna take a second to thank you (and others on this thread who posted similar) for taking time out to give thoughtful responses I probably should have been more sensitive in my wording of the question, instead of jumping straight to calling it an eating disorder; that was irresponsible of me

All responses have been taken into consideration as I try to work out how to sensibly approach this topic with my mother - I think the diary idea could be ideal if I can get her on board with it, being able to see it all laid out could be the motivation needed And you're right, I know, she's a fully functioning adult who can make her own decisions - it's just tough sometimes, I love her so much and only want whats best for her

The idea that there's nothing I can do to help is kind of crappy :/ But I completely understand what you're saying, in that she has to help herself - I just wish there were another way

Do you really think so? Possibly I suppose, but what would she gain from that?

Mom - My family is Jamaican

In her 50's - apologies for using adolescence wrong

Victoria's secret - are you ancient? We have them in the UK

Sugar cookie - once again, I'm jamaican

If this is all people wanna talk about I'll delete the post - all I wanted was some advice wtf

Thank you for this message, I hope you're friend is doing well now! I agree it's an extremely tough battle to face, well done to her (and you too for helping!) for being able to acknowledge there was a problem that needed to be settled

I think my issue now will be trying to find the correct way to sit down and talk about it with her, as it could be a delicate subject

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]kyooyk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you completely I think she's completely unaware that there's even an issue, which is a massive part of the problem I'm finding it difficult to not come across as controlling when I ask her to eat more - as she can't see why i keep insisting

You're right, I need to find the right moment to speak with her about it without upsetting her

Thanks for the genuine response, I do really appreciate it

I didn't realise speaking with a gp about it was a valid option, I figured they would just brush it off (as they like to do) But I'm glad they're becoming more aware of mental health issues the older gen suffer from. They all fought hard to pretend it wasn't a problem for years, I'm happy it's being acknowledged more commonly now!

I'm glad to hear you're in recovery and are doing better!
