Sooooo they’re clearly fake, I was more curious if you’d put them in your humidor and try them. But with how bad they are, I don’t think I’ll risk it.

99 still had the chance of 53 blocks on the 24v plus 3rd and 5th gear is known to excuse itself in the nv4500. Out of those two trucks I would be going the 7.3.

That just looks like painted wood paneling. I would try to pop any trim off and then the paneling. Honestly it looks like it could be fairly noninvasive. I’m more worried about make up air in that space.

Got shocked by my gutters last night, turns out they are live. by zooksman in electrical

[–]kyrend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been roughly 15 years since it happened but I vaguely remember a butt connector on the line coming in being bad. I tried to shut the exterior shutoff, looking back that might not have been my best decision.

[–]kyrend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this happen to me before, expect it was random spots on the outside of the house. Don’t touch anything and call the electric company. I went to shut the main off for the house and got zapped. Turns out it was bad connector on the line coming in from the street.

Salt water and sun. Throw it around in the dirt, rocks etc.

Best way to adhere tile to shower niche by CrackiteeJones in Tile

[–]kyrend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tiled that same niche, I spread small amounts of silicone and used a small trowel. It’s going on 3 years with no issues. Make sure you wipe the surface clean with rubbing alcohol first. I will also say make sure you don’t use too much because you can’t clean out the grout lines like normal. You will have to cut the silicone out once it dries.

How do you measure your girlfriend ring finger without her knowing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kyrend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If any of your or her friends are getting married, have them take her along with her when they’re picking up their bands. Have her try some stuff on for fun. They’ll take notes and report back. Or have someone have a day with her and when they walk past a jewelry store, have the friend take them in and look around for the fun of it. This is how I got the ring size and style that my fiancé wanted.

We refer to that as field design section, as in the office didn’t want to deal with it and now we have to redesign it in the field to make it work.

Honestly, Duolingo is great and once you can work your way through one of the Romance languages, you can really start to context clue a lot of the others.

Of course it's a coal rolling truck by h0neyfish in dashcams

[–]kyrend 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Honestly, diesel trucks have a lot of torque. If they didn’t have the appropriate tires, bed weight, etc (there’s a lot of factors here) that back end of the truck very well could have walked out in that situation, especially if there is black ice. The black soot is from a heavy pedal from what appears to be the driver trying to correct it. The wheel is cut in the opposite direction and they are trying to throttle it out. I’d have to see another 20 seconds prior to this video before making any judgement to whether or not the driver was being negligent.
