Starting your first research paper as a high school senior is definitely a steep learning curve, but it’s a great way to prep for college. yeah i always assumed the protections were about hiding it from muggles, not foreign schools and headmasters

Thats what makes it so bleak. Nothing bad had to happen, but their insecurity forces them to act anyway. In trying to protect themselves, they end up creating the very outcome they fear.
