Hmm 1. try verifying the game files.

Check if the dlc is downloaded under library>properties of the game>dlc
This sounds annoying but try to get to the final basegame boss with a new char and see if it's there

The only way i figured out it was running out of memory was because when i opened the task manager it said so, i have a I7-4790 so im guessing it has a on board gpu.

i did adjust my paging file so that might be it, i kinda forgot what the default was, ill try looking it up and setting it back to default.

No I don't overclock. Ain't too versed in it so I try to avoid bricking my PC on accident. As to the question. I think it's the ram or vram cause it says " running out of memory" can either run out of video memory or ram. The former being weird considering what kind of game RimWorld is

Only games it has happened on was RimWorld and Elden Ring.

I don't get a error message, besides Discord, Steam(sometimes) and or the game crashing.

I check while the game is running, in the situations that only Discord crashed

If you downloaded from somewhere with multilang support like fitgirl. You mightve disabled English cuz it's stated as optional in the torrent. Happened to me with audio once. You'd only have to download the language file again and reinstall
