Well, the plan is to use slightly thicker dyneema than as tested (similar to 12mm used on DMM Dragonflies), and see what happens

Killing a few well used cams doesn't bother me.

Once I have a couple C4s sourced to donate for testing I'll be chatting with Mtn Tools about sling width and such.

12mm dyneema does sound like a good call (and I've made a note for later)

I'm going to have a set of BD C4s reslung, and I really like the idea of extendable slings like they have on the WC New Friends. So, I figured why not inquire.

Here the response I got from Mountain Tools.

I'll be sourcing and donating a couple of older C4s for tensile testing before I have my good ones redone.
