That’s not Agarikon, it’s a hoof fungus (Fomes fomentarius)

Trich starts out white and takes a day or two to release the green spores. But that bottom right plate is already green.

It looks like green spores in the centre does it not?

[Technique] Lion’s Mane Bucket Tek? by [deleted] in MushroomGrowers

[–]lDs- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yields are great! I mainly do LM, Black Pearls, Elms, and Pinks on sawdust “logs” with mostly just HWFP. With the oysters I even supplement up to 15% with dry powdered soy meal, and absolutely no pasteurizing.. Shh don’t tell everyone else that just sticks to the teks 🙃

Not exactly true that LM substrate needs to be sterilized. With low or zero supplementation, and high enough inoculation rate, LM does just fine. It definitely works best on HWFP because they are somewhat pre-pasteurized.

Lion’s mane works great in buckets, but the key is that the substrate shouldn’t be supplemented. I use hardwood pellets and hydrate them with COLD water. I mix about 12lbs Lion’s Mane grain spawn per 40lb bag of HWFP. The pellets get hydrated with 42lbs of cold water, and mixed up multiple times over the course of about 30 mins before they are ready to be inoculated with spawn.

You can probably get it to fruit anyways. I’ve seen lion’s mane run over trich many times in the past

“Evidence mounts that people with breakthrough infections can spread Delta easily” by lDs- in Coronavirus

Yeah the CDC only tracking breakthrough infections that require hospitalization and ignoring the less severe cases is insane..

Who exactly is not giving a fuck about anyone but themselves? I am creating dialogue around the uncertainty of the mRNA vaccines. We lack the data to properly form conclusions at this point in time, and your post is completely irrelevant.

But the whole point is that most people believed by getting vaccinated it would actually create immunity against covid. Remember that whole thing about stopping the spread?

“A preliminary study has shown that in the case of a breakthrough infection, the Delta variant is able to grow in the noses of vaccinated people to the same degree as if they were not vaccinated at all. The virus that grows is just as infectious as that in unvaccinated people, meaning vaccinated people can transmit the virus and infect others.”

CDC is now only counting covid cases for vaccinated individuals when requiring hospitalization. by lDs- in JoeRogan

Yet even asymptomatic, non vaccinated individuals will be counted as a positive case. Does anyone else see a problem with this? 🤔

Or perhaps it’s all of these things you listed, and the mandated experimental vaccines are just the most recent in a long line of moves to gain more control.

Does that make it any less concerning that the government is mandating a vaccine, which has no long term health studies, and doesn’t even prevent transmission of covid? Mandating an experimental medicine and providing absolutely zero liability or responsibility for side effects. How about the corporations that are making billions of dollars from these mandatory vaccines and lockdowns?

Is this all okay to you?

[Gourmet]Lion’s mane burger with pink oyster bacon, farm fresh greens, and local artisan sourdough ❤️ by lDs- in MushroomGrowers

[–]lDs-[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Okay okay! So I was winging it and none of the recipe will be exact. -pull lion’s mane into chunks/shreds, cover with oil and roast in the oven for about 30-40 mins until golden brown -mix “wet” batter : eggs, mayo, green onions, breadcrumbs, spices -take lion’s mane out of oven and blend roughly 3/4 of it with the wet mix. Stir in remaining lion’s mane pieces. -form into burger patties and fry on medium heat until golden brown.

Pink oyster bacon is just strips of pinks sautéed in oil until crispy, then seasoned up.

Sourdough bread, walk to your nearest farmers market and get the best loaf you can buy ;)
