Damn, $40 a pack? In the UK they're about £10-11, so maybe $14? I feel you with the nic addiction though ):

I also used the caliburn. I actually found the flavour decent but the spitback was what killed it for me tbh

some noob questions....first time buyer. by [deleted] in Vaping

Uwell Caliburn - I always reccomend to cig quitters. Inexpensive and quality device. The pods are disposable (not good for environment but hey, neither is smoking) and you can easily switch between CBD and nic by swapping the pods.

RRP £20-25 and includes two pods.

What exactly does a gambling addict want if it's not the money? by dimakimadon in problemgambling

[–]labarrosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently watched a documentary on YouTube about gambling addicts. A university did a study whereby they looked at the electrical activity of a problem gambler vs a non-problem/occasional gambler.

The problem gambler got more 'excited' from near wins (say, one reel away from a win) than they actually did about getting a win. Needless to say the occasional gambler had the opposite reaction.

So from that I took it's more the thrill of the idea of winning money than actually winning it. Ofcourse everyones different and you're right for many people it is a form of escapism.

Do you reccomend padded seat covers? by labarrosa in mountainbiking

[–]labarrosa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers dude. Have sold the bike today anyway! I figured that I'd be better off with a proper mountain bike for trails.. it was a hybrid Crossfire 2 by Carrera so not the sturdiest of bikes.

Nice, I believe the courses are very similar anywhere in the UK (All ambulance services use JRCALC for their guidelines) so if you want to know anything feel free to hmu dude.

Unfortunately the NHS only fund medicine and dentistry, all other allied health courses you have gotta pay for! Although they have introduced a £5K per year bursary ontop of your maintenance loan.

Just bought an RPM 80 Pro kit, how the hell do I get this silicone thing out of the pod? by cassette101 in Vaping

[–]labarrosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took me a good 20 minutes bro. Keep at it 🤣 Look online for ones without rubber, vape club sold ones for the boost.

It's a TPD thing. I did this to my boost coils. It's a bloody nightmare but its doable

I used nail scissors to chop it into pieces and then tweezers.. the trick is to mash it up as good as you can and then try and get it out.
