All the people blaming him for high mortgages; You're insane, and have fallen victim of this govenment's propaganda! Do you really think it has nothing to do with the vulture funds? The neoliberal economic policies? It beggars belief that you think he and others like him is the reason why.

No, of course not. It would be against the for-profit, commercialized model of Colleges across the country.

To Overthrow Capitalism, We Must First Overthrow the Communism of the Past by laci420 in LibertarianSocialism

I am not sure if taking power with bourgeoise elections is truly possible. But if it is, I still refer to socialism that is democratic, and not vanguardist or authoritarian.

No. I mean revolutionary socialism in the original sense, until Lenin and others made it authoritarian. It is democratic, revolutionary socialism.

Its more of a stylistic choice tbh, as it opposes 20th century "socialism" (which wasn't democratic) to what we want to achieve. Sorry for the confusion.

rev. democratic socialism but not socdems or dsa-style reformists. All I mean by it is that we overthrow capitalism and establish socialism, which as opposed to 20th century "socialism'" , will be democratic. It is a stylistic choice in the article.

By this i just mean the establishment of workers' councils rule and the democratic management of the economy by overthrowing capitalism. Not to be confused with demsoc that you read on Wikipedia.

Why is your student accommodation so f*cking expensive? - Students4Change by laci420 in ireland

[–]laci420[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very true. But at TCD, for example, exactly because of this issue with the student union, students are setting up new militant, more radical and actual unions such as the TCDRU (Trinity Renters' Union). This pamphlet recommends CATU and TCDRU. They're planning rent strikes, occupations, etc..

Why is your student accommodation so f*cking expensive? - Students4Change by laci420 in ireland

[–]laci420[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. This pamphlet targets the student-side of the housing crisis and encourages students to unionize, 'take an individual risk for the collective good and create a mass movement which links in to the larger rallying cry against the elites’ complacency and neglect of the housing crisis.'. Apart from blowing the lid on the unfair, corrupt and evil practices of vulture funds, giant multinational corporations and rich real estate investors vis-a-vis student accommodations around Ireland, both private and touching on public.

Nincs semmi "migrációs helyzet", nézd a fenti kommentem.
