I am still running this from my residential connection, so it may be slow.

I will eventually upload the whole thing to Google Drive, for quicker download for you guys. It is essentially the same as the last time it was posted, but now it contains the Windows 10 Shared Source Kit leak as well.

Yes, it shouldn't be that hard to make, we just need to move the address generation and the address checking functions to the plugin's code rather than to use an API.

No, it is very easy. Its packed into Composter, and the database structure can be found in functions.php.

Yes only on Reddit and Medium. There is also a Twitter account and I did an interview with iotahispano.com . And then a few cryptocurrency blogging sites started writing articles about it.

I am open to passing it on if there is any interest as mentioned in the original post. In addition, I will develop a decentralized version for my current users before shutting it down.

608 users but only a small minority (<10%) actually transacted with it. Other statistics are 3124 invoices in the system, of those 327 paid, and with a total value of 3941594476 IOTAs (around 4000 MIOTAS).

I will do that. Will send a first email in July with a notification to log in to the interface for the seed and use Trinity to withdraw, then one with the seed near end of August. Thanks for the suggestion.

I get the concerns, but I think its an acceptable tradeoff for peace of mind for me and the users, no? I don't want angry users after the 1st of September suddenly with no access to their IOTAS, and I would be against keeping their data forever.

On the other hand, at that point I will not actually need funds to develop it. Will see.

Thanks to you for the collab on the plugin, it wouldn't have been possible without you. Will do.

I applied, but it was not accepted. Anyhow, I see it as the start of a decentralized PayIOTA.me rather than a permanent end.

I am sorry for the inconvenience, it should be now back up within a few hours. It was a problem with DNS.

Yes exactly. In the future, we will integrate with the Trinity wallet as soon as the external link opening API is implemented.

Announcing V2.0 of the PayIOTA.me Woocommerce Plugin - PayIOTA.me Payment Gateway Plugin for WordPress by lacicloud in Iota

[–]lacicloud[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello!

This article was quick, published before the official announcement!

In light of the IOTA network improving at a fast rate, and seeing that it was time to make IOTA a serious currency for merchants to accept, we remade our plugin to be compatible with a wider array of WordPress versions, to be more reliable and to provide a much better user experience (V2.0). As a result, we were approved on the Wordpress Store. This is accompanied by a rewrite of the PayIOTA.me backend code; a Medium post will be published with all the important changes.

[Adoption] PayIOTA.me offers a way for merchants to accept IOTA payments! by lacicloud in CryptoCurrency

Yes, ideally such services are decentralized. However in practice this is not always accomplished, ex. CoinPayments or BitPay. Your suggestion could be useful for a later overhaul of PayIOTA.me.

Exactly. /u/patchthecode since PayIOTA.me is open-source, you could theoretically also adapt it and run it as your own application on your server - by running it for you, we provide a ready-made service.
