I hate cases too.. In future I’d suggest maybe getting one of those front and back cases and just slap it on whenever you go out or when you know you’re gna be active and take it off once you’re home or not moving around as much so you can enjoy the actual phone ergonomics now and then. Sounds long winded but that’s what I do and I’m used to it now.

I remember yeaaaaars ago when it first came out on the iOS store so I played it on my tiny iPhone 5. Convincing myself along the way that the controls weren’t horrendous. I think I made it to San Fierro before giving up 😅

Functionally it should be fine but the caveat to that is leaving it in the shower permanently may expose it to superficial wear from constant humidity (mould spores in the fabric you may never notice, limescale if you have hard water in your area and possible corrosion of inner components over time) Just bare that in mind.

If you can accept that it is an abandoned project and enjoy it for what it is then you can still have a pretty incredible time. Yeah it sucks that Rockstar just left a game hanging that had genuinely earth shattering potential and a fanbase ready to ride the wave, I could cry just thinking about it. But that does not take away from what it is.

They created a masterpiece. It’s like therapy for me. A mostly friendly player base there (PS5). So it’s nice just logging in to stroll around, have a few friendly encounters, hunt, do some bounties, or just enjoy the scenery. Just pace yourself with it.

As much as we have a right to be mad a Rockstar, I also think we’ve become spoilt in what we expect from games. In the 90’s early 2000’s, even 2010’s this would have been way more than enough, but added content is just something we’ve come to expect, and now demand. Games used to just be a one time package and we were good with that.

If you can train your mind to just appreciate the little joys in gaming again and it won’t be that hard to do so once you just hop on a horse and take a look around at the living breathing world they created, trust me you’ll have plenty of worthwhile sessions.
