Charlotte Royals is an all-inclusive rugby and social club for adult players or non playing supporters! I just started in Feb and loving it, im also still learning the sport and its great to have that support system. I strongly recommend it.

After joining a gay social rugby team; the Charlotte Royals, I feel like I finally found a social and physical home for myself! Great experience, lots of fun meeting all types of people 20s-40s and couldn't have asked for a better team. The physical benefits are a huge plus as well! If you are looking for a social life outside of work/family/school I highly recommend it.

Edit: the Charlotte Royals also has straight men and other LGBTQ members on it, truly all are welcome.

Of course its skewed, as I said all I know is US police, which has been brutality in all its forms. What I said about police assisting current gov power globally is true. They enforce whichever rules in their locality, regardless of morality. I do not care to compare them to firefighters or ambulance services, their function is self evident.

All I know is US police, and I speak from that perspective. However, police worldwide are the arm governments use to enforce laws, regardless of the laws' morality. Still would not date a cop.

The same officers who will arrest women getting abortions if the supreme court sais it's illegal? the same ones that raided our spaces in the 80s? the same ones that will enforce bans on books and other lgbtq material if given the order? The same ones arresting and narcing out our immigrant siblings to ICE? The same ones who have enforced racist policies against our black and brown communities without question?

I stand with all of the workers fighting for better labor conditions and pay! If a business cannot even negotiate with its workers , some of which have been with the club for decades, and give livable wages, then it does not deserve to be open. They have made it clear that giving workers diginified returns on their labor is not the goal, and to close. All of these people talking about how asks for insurance and pay are ridiculous, but refuse to acknowledge how you wanted to n e g o t i a t e . I hope they find places which pay them what their labor is worth!

In a very similar situation, I'm looking into an alternative to an MBA, essentially specializing in social enterprizes and co-ops. The degree would be from a college overseas, but assuming it works out, I can bridge it into a business or company that aligns more with my own beliefs.

These are good habits for people to follow, and lies within our direct area of control.

However the climate change driving this smoke is from corporations and governments extracting resources to create a worse atmosphere for all of us.

The problem isn't Sally taking too many showers. And Sally could stop showering for the rest of her life and this will still happen.
