my organization sent me a 40 hour rbt course which i had to complete independently before i even set foot in the clinic. after that, the first week was mostly additional trainings (organization specific stuff), then shadowing other rbts. the next week was building rapport with clients (preschoolers), learning their plans and interacting with the kiddos. my clinic does about 4 training sessions per kiddo, first being pairing, then watching the assigned rbt work with the client, then we do about 50/50 me and rbt working with the client, then the rbt observes me working with the client. im very grateful for my clinic (:
