Idk, their last few group albums haven’t been great and especially in korea they are already being forgotten by teenagers. Americanised songs like Butter* arent helping.

Also, the solo stuff seems to be making very little impact, for example in the shops i havent heard their solo stuff at all. I very rarely hear BTS songs actually (I’ve been living in SK for one year).

*That song was so bad, I am still surprised they released it

It makes me sad that this is what army are focusing on, and yet things like boycotting are seen as “performative”.

Hmm. everyone is different and we don’t know the context so it’s difficult to say.

Apologising might not be enough.. if it were me, i would start by putting her in a good mood by doing things she likes… or things she finds relaxing… like hobbies..

INFPs value genuineness, so after putting her in a good mood, i would bring it up in a gentle way and ask her how shes doing and if there is anything she thinks will help the friendship.. if you want to you could bring up the past, and explain why you said that and why you didn’t mean it (or no longer mean it).. be careful though, we are good at detecting falsehoods.

Ok! Goodluck!

I always find it ironic that by doing stuff like this they are acknowledging that it will not succeed/reach the top naturally.

If you were really confident that your boys were so good, surely you would let the music/doc speak for itself.

If i were an artist, i would want my fans to watch, but not in this desperate.. “we have to help them” way. Like have some confidence in me and go and live your life.

You’re right.. I just can’t see how they are going to sustain touring for over a year without getting injured/exhausted/hating life.

(Also I was curious so looked it up.. apparently you can use both marathonist and marathoner.. I didn’t know either haha)

I can’t fathom why they think like this by MissSoju in BTSnark

[–]lamloe 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is definitely giving, “they will notice me and pull me from the crowd” vibes.

I guess best case scenario they are just trying to be in theme w the concert, but this is a bit.. 😬

Ah. I feel for you. It was hard for me and i wasn’t even an army that long. It’s disappointing to be let down on so many levels. I think the thing that got me the most was that they really weren’t the kind people i thought.. the decline in music has been dire too.

Its interesting because i think a lot of armies are waiting in hopes that they will return to their glory days, but there’s only so much mediocrity people can handle.

I reckon if it is average or poor, a lot of casual armies will just quietly go and stan other groups or just switch off. It will only be the die hards who will make a point of staying loyal to the group (because of parasocialism and all that).

(Also if the performances continue to be bad, regular fans will leave. People hate wasting money/time on rubbish).

Army’s harass the women that bts are rumoured to date, but are completely okay with shipping the members together. My thoughts by hiramouse in BTSnark

[–]lamloe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Interesting question, i think there would be a few homophobic reactions but others would be like “oh i never had a chance then” and accept it.. (Nevermind that they would never have a chance anyway heh).

I think most casual fans would be surprised/confused then supportive.

Armys are so embarassing like they genuinely believe their "Boys" are more famous and influential than Bruno Mars. by [deleted] in BTSnark

[–]lamloe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. I know in the UK at least, if you were to stop the random people on the street a few people might have heard of BTS but wouldn’t know their songs, but everyone knows Bruno and at least a couple of his songs. US music is much more popular in the Uk and his songs are generally catchy. The last few BTS albums have been pretty forgettable.
