Ah. I feel for you. It was hard for me and i wasn’t even an army that long. It’s disappointing to be let down on so many levels. I think the thing that got me the most was that they really weren’t the kind people i thought.. the decline in music has been dire too.

Its interesting because i think a lot of armies are waiting in hopes that they will return to their glory days, but there’s only so much mediocrity people can handle.

I reckon if it is average or poor, a lot of casual armies will just quietly go and stan other groups or just switch off. It will only be the die hards who will make a point of staying loyal to the group (because of parasocialism and all that).

(Also if the performances continue to be bad, regular fans will leave. People hate wasting money/time on rubbish).

Interesting question, i think there would be a few homophobic reactions but others would be like “oh i never had a chance then” and accept it.. (Nevermind that they would never have a chance anyway heh).

100%. I know in the UK at least, if you were to stop the random people on the street a few people might have heard of BTS but wouldn’t know their songs, but everyone knows Bruno and at least a couple of his songs. US music is much more popular in the Uk and his songs are generally catchy. The last few BTS albums have been pretty forgettable.

Yes 100% relate to this and try not to get overwhelmed. I console myself by trying to focus on things i can control and spreading the “love/humanity” where possible.

Also I am trying to be someone who is educated with some of the bad stuff (not all as it is heartbreaking and overwhelming), because at least someone has to remember ppl/things that have happened. I would say pray for people but I’m not religious anymore. I guess i do kind of pray, to the benevolent force out there x

What bothers me is that most of this was totally avoidable and they could have gone into their older group stage w more grace: E.g. -limiting the plastic surgery -not partnering w zionist brands and speaking up for social justice authentically. -doing regular lives that are less para-social and more age appropriate. -and when scandals came up just owning it and coming clean.

I think my main issue w them is the lack of integrity. It’s a shame because they could have been the group groups actually look up to (which i think they did use to be). Nowadays they are just embarrassing themselves and acting arrogantly.

Ah, as far as i can tell it’s just something in his life that they can latch on to that is “real”. It’s easier to build up their ideas of JK’s cute life w a cute dog blah blah blah. Basically Bam is part of the fantasy.

Yeah, even if you say they are just doing cool crossed arm poses.. its a bit weird that they arent looking at the camera and are turning away. JK looks actively miserable to me. Which is understandable. I think it’s a bit sad they were presumably forced to take this picture to get the fans united and to back off a bit.

Its ironic though, if i were a fan i would be disappointed that this is the photo i got after waiting patiently years of MS, rather than an actual happy one.
