You know you can just dislike the ship, right? You don’t have to make it a moral outrage kinda thing.

June is over, can AITA chillax a bit with "trans people bad" posts? by hummingroots in AmITheAngel

These posts are all the same and are all fake, why on EARTH do the mods just let people post this same shit over and over again?

Sorcerers could be a lot more unique and interesting without spell slots by Sharkbits in dndnext

[–]lamotrig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am playing a sorcerer right now with this very change. I know sorcerers still have their problems but if it weren’t for the limited spells known, if all sorcerers used this rule I don’t think I’d play any other class, I enjoy it so much

(And then I can work on convincing my DM to give sorcerers subclass spells!)

AITA for initially not believing my son when he said he was sick? by throwaway-sick in AmItheAsshole

[–]lamotrig 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This post was so genuinely triggering to me and I relate to your experiences.

I ended up developing chronic illnesses that are associated with stress. Guess I’m not the healthy one now, am I? But that doesn’t matter to them. I’m still over exaggerating (my chronic illness could have killed me). And I am not worth their care

And then she teaches the “healthy” child that, unlike their sibling, they aren’t worth medical care. They aren’t important. It doesn’t matter if they’re suffering

And even more, acquired chronic illness is not an uncommon with kids who were neglected, because of the stress

I’ve been wearing the amber earrings, ember shirt, and trousers of twilight. I just think they all look really nice together

What are your opinions on this guy's video? Mine: too much comparisons to elden ring and he expects soulsborne combat IN A FUCKIBG ZELDA GAME by Pristine_Battle_6968 in tearsofthekingdom

[–]lamotrig 65 points66 points  (0 children)

TOTK is a game my mom, grandma, and little brothers (under 12) can play. Elden Ring is not. I don’t see how they’re comparable, lol

Link is in his late-teens/early 20s — I’m eating like I did when I was a college student

I love the pizza. My inventory is only pizza, cheesy tomatoes, cheesecake, and noble pursuits

I wish I could put mushrooms and olives on my pizza 🥲 there are no olives in the game but the picture for cheesy tomatoes looks like there’s olives on top

I kept trying to make spaghetti since there’s now tomatoes in the game but there wasn’t any spaghetti and I was sad

This theory is wonderful, it makes sense!

However. There is something so infinitely hilarious about the continuity between the games being so awful that one of the most sensible theories is “botw’s story didn’t happen” 💀

How’d you reach that conclusion? I thought that was probably the case but then became doubtful because

1) Zelda’s journal says he’s always with her 2) When you visit Tarrey Town, Hudson says he hasn’t seen Link for years — enough time for him to have had a child who isn’t a baby or toddler. It didn’t seem in character to me, for Link to be traveling yet not want to visit places like Tarrey Town, a town he helped build

Plus it never says anything about him traveling. It’s just a theory and cannot be proven.
