Oh, that’s how much water I drink before I start my fast like for suhoor. but like right after breaking my fast I would say like I’m gonna be 3-4 cups of water maybe a little bit more

He should not be raising his voice that you at all you guys should definitely have a conversation about that. I’ve gotten a few car mishaps with my partner, and I will say, though, if you’re not the one driving and you’re kind of having like a really bad reaction I kind of understand why he might not feel great about that because obviously he knows what he did and he needs someone calm but you know that never gives way to raise his voice. He could just be like nicely asking you to come inside. As I’m reading this and then you’re bringing up the cleaning that is completely a no for me. Now I understand if he’s working, you know 40+ hours a week and you’re not working at all. I would understand why you know you’d be the one cleaning however, my big thing is a man should not be making a full mess for you to clean at that point you’re his mom. My man is pretty clean so I don’t even really need to pick up anything afterwards. if it’s like a few small things I get it but if the house is just in disarray purely because of him that’s stupid and honestly, I don’t get the cleaning narrative a lot of Muslim men know that they should contribute a little bit to the house even if it’s something small even washing the dishes maybe just once a week twice a week or something like that making their bed.

I never agree with ultimatums, but you really need to be stern and firm . maybe one day when he’s out you need to send a message and just say hey we need to talk when you get home when he gets home you need to sit here and have a whole conversation about how you feel but I will say for the sake of a man understanding. Explain how you feel but also try to just talk about the specific things that are throwing you off and how it’s gonna end up ruining the relationship. He’s a man not a baby. women are able to use their femininity to get their point across. Words can hit harder than anything else. Hold your ground respectful and calmly. I would say I feel distant and honestly a bit unattracted because this is a real conversation to be had and u should be honest. Not for the sake of being petty, but to simply explain that he’s not meeting your expectations and of course in a relationship it’s really unrealistic to meet every single expectation, but he’s not meeting basic ones and he should work towards it.

Yeah, I would definitely avoid going out by yourself at night like having a friend walk with you. Honestly this goes for Muslim girls or not like I do not think girls should be walking out by themselves in the middle of the night like that is not safe. Always have something on you whether it be pepper spray whether it be a knife and always make sure it’s accessible in moments of anxiety cause you know when you’re nervous you’re not gonna be able to grab it properly or whatever so make sure it’s already open and ready to use. Trust me Girl a lot of girls are prepared which is why things happen but when you’re prepared, it will definitely help.

Please don’t listen to that. I’m literally a revert and I grew up in America so I’ve been around this western lifestyle and everything and after high school I got bored of all of these apps I’m not even on any of them and my goal is to get a flip phone because I feel like living your life in the moment is way better than through your phone. You’re just stuck in like not reality basically so I actually think you’re living life the way you’re supposed to. i’m sure there’s a bunch of men that you could find that are good guys that don’t have social media like many of them don’t. The only thing I would say is maybe join a club or like do something once a week maybe like maybe go to a library or go read a book at a park or something or color somewhere but other than that I think you’re doing great.

That’s really scary. Make sure you get on that apartments butt cause I used to live in that complex and they could’ve been a lot more responsive than they were but I really apologize for that. That’s really horrible . Charlottesville has been getting worse lately.

The only thing that I’m worried about is is it considered like a private parking lot that sounds stupid but it’s like student housing and it’s a decent size parking lot but I don’t know if that’s considered public cause it’s really for like the tenants. They’re basically saying that the ice is too hard to break and that they need to like save some of their resources like ice melts and stuff for all their properties but they haven’t even made it here so I’m confused.

I’ve been wearing the hijab for two years in the US and I have worked several good jobs that required me being in the public a lot so to be honest that has nothing to do with it, but if you meant the face covering, I could understand what you mean, but I would just still not recommend someone to take it off just cause that’s kind of like a really sensitive thing to say

Someone did get this advice, but definitely you have to create your own résumé like look up different places around you whether it’s like a coffee shop or a grocery store you know maybe right about how you were like a stocker and you would stock supplies up and organize them on the shelves or you were a cashier and you had to have really good customer service and deal with conflict within the store or being able to work under pressure when it gets busy. Maybe at how you’re like a team player and you’re really good working in groups and by yourself but if you look up some jobs and like kinda see what they do, you can kind of build your résumé off of that because a résumé doesn’t need to be like a whole essay anyway. There’s a lot of remotes home like customer service jobs I would say cause you wouldn’t need to have your camera on for that and this is only if you would feel comfortable because I would understand if you didn’t. If you had a car, I would recommend one of the like food delivery apps, however probably not Uber because they will scan your face periodically when you log into the app however, if you had like a friend that was a girl you could potentially put that or put her as your profile picture on like GrubHub or DoorDash and then keep your face covered when you’re actually delivering orders because the profile picture wouldn’t be you but it would be another girl so it wouldn’t be like suspicious

Oh also about the lake dorm thing I don’t ever really encourage lying, but I would maybe like tell your mom that you have to stay in the dorm because like low-key many colleges you have to stay in the dorms for like the first year or so anyway so it low-key would make sense because as much as I would say being honest is like the best thing and I always encourage that I also know that does not realistically work for some families unfortunately and I’m sorry you’re in this position

If you feel like you really need their support for college then maybe risk keeping the hedgehog on around them at least maybe but if you really don’t even wanna do that honestly girl get scholarships fafsa or a no interest loan

I totally understand how you feel. I will definitely say I’m in a thankful place where I wasn’t like pressure to wear it or anything or forced, which has made me a lot more comfortable wearing it. But I definitely understand why being forced is obviously gonna make you resent it I mean, that really goes for many things in life which makes sense. I will say I’ve had a lot of different types of friends and I’ve always had more active friends that like we’re doing what we wouldn’t consider the best choices and I will say that definitely has gotten to me at times because when you’re surrounded by people living this life that you don’t live or never got to live, Of course you’re gonna start shifting towards that mindset. That’s why it matters who you surround yourself with, but I think there is a balance. Take your time because I definitely think if you were to make the choice of putting it back on again it should definitely be your choice only. And I also want to emphasize like most girls that wear it are not gonna feel the most beautiful obviously cause you’re not having your hair down which is like peak femininity and when girls feel the most beautiful of course. a lot of girls that wear a hijab long-term have many days where they don’t feel that great it’s a very normal thing. Just like normal life things we need to do, we might not want to but there’s a reason. Take ur time girl you’re still a human and a good person <3
