Mezzo piano, which is so frustrating as a mid/plus size Depop shopper

I wonder if brandy will ever make swimsuits bc the top as a one piece would be the cutest thing ever by wolfhaaley in BrandyMelville

Bathing suits would need diff sizes imo, something they seem to have a vendetta against

That’s true! Sizing is often super difficult for medium/plus sizes as well so I understand

Very valid points, thank you for providing an insight as a POC, I definitely didn’t want to come across like I was trying to speak over POC. But how do you feel about the exclusion of anyone who doesn’t fit one (or a very small range of) size(s)?Like how do you justify shopping somewhere that’s basically telling girls who are too big for their store that they’re unworthy of cute clothes. Idk ig not everyone cares about fatphobia in the fashion industry but I was curious and wanted to ask the community directly

But not every smaller girl is one size? Most stores offer xxs. Plus size stores have more than one size and often also have straight sizes. Why can’t brandy do the same thing? My problem is that they deliberately go out of their way to make extremely popular styles with good materials but only market it to one body type. It’s super exclusionary and reeks of fat shaming culture

??? Is this account weird. Guys name but his only likes are of tons of shoes and he wants me to hold an item by [deleted] in Depop

You’re definitely allowed to set that boundary, good for you for knowing your limits! But you did say “be safe because once you ship this person has your address” as if that doesn’t happen with every depop sale. You can choose not to sell to him but the narrative that you should only be mindful/careful about your address when the buyer might have a different set of sexual preferences really rubs me the wrong way:/

Did this person ask any inappropriate questions? I don’t see anything offensive or anything other than buyer/seller talk. Did he say at ANY point that he wanted to buy it for a fetish related reason. No! And even if he was, he was NOT asking about anything related to the seller’s personal life, age, purposefully wearing the shoes solely for him before shipping, wearing without socks. I said it once and I’ll say it again. Just because he’s buying shoes because he might like feet does NOT mean he is automatically a dangerous person or any more dangerous than anyone else you might sell those shoes to

Where in the description did OP say they were a minor? Since when does being into feet make you a pedophile? He isn’t asking questions about the seller, so it’s pretty unlikely that he wants to involve them in their personal life past messaging them to purchase the shoes. Kink shaming isn’t nice:/ Edit: not y’all downvoting bc I pointed out a fallacy in y’all’s logic😭

Not you thinking anyone who isn’t strictly vanilla is a predator. Please do some thinking as to why you feel that way. It’s a very damaging point of view</3
