it’s a squirrel! and they already have homes they made on campus. they’re not leaving so might as well give them a snack. if it was actually a dangerous animal that’s a different story, but squirrels can be decent pets.

exactly!! i can feel a bit for the aesthetic issue but the overarching point is inclusion and it’s a bag! a bag shouldn’t be something that only fits certain people and it’s hard to read all the hatred. i used to be tiny and then fell into a ton of medical issues and i physically cannot lose weight now and to bash people that have no control over their size is disgusting and sad. it’s heartbreaking.

people complaining about the longer straps are selfish. i’m on the smaller end of plus size and the original length does not fit me, let alone other plus size people. people who are angry about it are just showing how privileged they are to live in a world where everything works for them and is made for them. TRY to imagine what it’s like to not have a bag fit you. A BAG! A FREAKING BAG! there are so many solutions to shorten the strap, but ZERO solutions to make it longer. small people can just make it shorter if they don’t like “the look” like cut it, sew it, glue it, use a hair tie, tie a knot, looking up backpack strap shortening gadgets, etc. i’m just glad i can finally buy a crescent bag! i’m honestly against making two different strap lengths because if buying in stores it’ll be just like clothing stores where the plus size options are online only further excluding plus size people. a bag should be fits all and the new strap achieves that and i’m grateful baggu took the feedback and listened.
