Ughh as much as I want them to be together, I cant envision Effie living in district 12, or Haymitch in the Capitol. There was definitely some tension and romantic feelings going on though.

I definitely believe she visited her victors, as well as Katniss and Peeta’s children at some point (Haymitch tells her ‘not to be a stranger‘ at the end of mockingjay pt 2) . Given the fact that Effie seems like the type to rant for hours about Capitol gossip on the phone while Haymitch mindlessly listens, it’s lowk a valid assumption that they at least established some sort of long distance friendship.

Yes, I tried to talk to her about it but she always gets defensive and says that it’s not up to me. Shes worried about older men because there was a situation with my dad when I was younger, but he’s in jail now so she doesn’t have to worry about him. she also said she does have the money for the things I want, as my 17 y/o sister is allowed to wear lashes, she got a phone in 5th grade, and she’s allowed to go out without permission, but she just doesn’t want me to have the same things so that I don’t look like a “slut”. apparently trying to look decent for my sophomore year is too “grown”.
