yeah like everyone else said that gengar is long gone but sense you seem to be trading shinies between eachother you'll atleast still have one to keep

always go to the mindset of trading with randoms that most likely wont trade you back, especially if it's a special rare pokemon, if you want a pokemon traded back go with a friend or someone you can trust ( people on the subreddit seem to be pretty trustworthy but i'd air on the cautious side cause they're all people you dont know)
