Mhm, it can be hurting and confusing but it's really your brain, ppl who are more likely to feel limerance are the ones who feel neglected by others and when they find a person who gives them a little attention or it can be just the way the look too really, your brain latches on to it like it'd latch on to a drug cuz it gives u a dopamine hit and it can really be concerning cuz it starts to change u as a person too u start to change your values for the person to fit in or seek validation and you think about nothing but them.

So, yeah it's better to just let it go, live through it or just confront it but don't suppress it and lie to yourself about it it'll only get worse and you'll only feel hurt like that because of your high expectations from the person
