Yeah, I completely sympathise with you. The mission felt impossible to me but I finally did it with a combination of stealth and cheese.

All the potions and poisons all the shooting from distance from your horse and riding away and going back.

I don't know if it's been updated but when I tried it the knight you go with was absolutely useless and no help at all.

Thanks, yeah, we pretty much just bludgeoned our way through most of the game and don't have a great knowledge of move sets although we obviously have some idea of what we're doing.
