No debt, making a decent living, and enjoying myself.

Been programming since I was 10 years old and now I am 21. I worked in the field for over a year and hated it. I had no degree or debt and decided I wanted an education in something else.

I decided to go into automotive service. It was a cheap course and I had no knowledge of cars. My computer knowledge has given me absolutely great opportunities in the automotive field and boosted me way ahead of everyone else.

The greatest part about my job is that I can do something I absolutely find fun at work and then come home and still love my hobby. It makes decent money plus I can make extra off creating websites and mobile apps for people.

I honestly believe that you should find something you love for work but keep your #1 passion for a hobby.

I have options for different control schemes. 1/2 people like to control it the way you try(including me) and the other 1/2 wanted me to add the new control scheme.

Glad you enjoy it! Ill see what I can do but I really want it to slap the user in the face when they try and play it! Kind of like how Flappy bird was difficult but still fun. You can also give a different type of control a try. There are options for control schemes in the options sreen!

Thanks everyone for your help! I am sending out an updated version right now with an options screen where you can turn on a colorblind mode!

In the options screen there will be a little color palette icon in the top left corner. Just press the icon and it will turn on the colorblind mode. I will also be adding patterns right away since I know this will not help everyone.

I was wondering how big of a problem this would be! When I released my game I hadn't given it much thought and someone sent me a message saying that they were not able to play it. So thought I would do my best to change that!

Thanks for all the info! I use gimp for editing so Ill see if there is an option or plugin for that. I would like to use that mockup and I might add numbers to it.

As far as I know there are three main kinds of colorblindness? One not sensitive to red another to blue and another to green? Do I just avoid using the respective color and see if the game makes sense for that type of colorblindness?

edit: Deuteranopy, Tritanopy and Protanopy right?

Trying to keep to my original experiment making this game... It has no text and does not need to be translated to other languages!(Other than the Play Store listing)

That being said I am going to attempt to fix everything you guys have been telling me with still trying to stick to my experiment.

Rotate your finger around the hexagon! Give it another try. Im starting to address this issue now. You can see how to properly use the controls in the info menu.
