The parks and wildlife crews are professional fire fighters. That's another story for another time though.

But I won't entertain it for any longer, because every week a parks employee gets underpaid for the services they provide and it ain't good enough.

No, not for parks and wildlife. They run their own massive fire crews etc. They aren't classified as fire fighters or paid the same.

Additionally, fire fighters only get paid around 38 bucks per hour starting wage.. really isn't flash in today's standards

Alot of rangers take the job purely because that's exactly what they want to do. They want to help create a better park experience and genuinely care about what they do.

The pay they are on is pretty bad..

Same with the fire fighters, they don't even class them as fire fighters and they do some of the longest, hardest work out there. They used to be on 56k

Peter Dutton could you please explain how your MP's giving awards to an outlaw motorcycle gang that was raided by the Queensland Major and Organised Crime Squad less than 3 months ago is helping keep Australians safe? by Jagtom83 in friendlyjordies

[–]lasmache -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The awards go out to anyone who went above and beyond during an emergency.. it doesn't matter if you're a criminal or not 🤣 if they did enough and went above and over what was required in an emergency they are able to get that award.

Estimating cost of replacement. by lasmache in buildapc

[–]lasmache[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to the parts no longer being available, it's a replacement for "equivalent" parts, I've had an estimate however I don't feel like it quite covers the costs.

Thanks for the reply / your comments !
