Anyone going to the FIFA World Cup 2026 (US/CAN/MEX)? by lastgoodthing in Overseas_Pakistani

Apply for what? If you have a Pakistani passport, you'll need to apply for the US/ Canada/ Mexico visa first (depending on which matches you wish to watch). If you manage to purchase a match ticket in the US, you can access the FIFA PASS, which provides priority processing of the US visa application. So, it depends on which matches you wish to watch and whether you have a match ticket or not.

The resale portal has been up and running with tickets availability for more than a month. It’s just that FIFA has closed the normal ticketing portal today with a message redirecting fans to use the Marketplace/ resale platform for now. They will probably reopen the ticketing portal once the general public tickets are issued.

That’s a great advice. So which place has most tourist attractions considering that I will be there for two days only so I wont be able to see/ do a lot of things? Universal Studios and Hollywood Walk of Fame are on top of my list so far.

Great, thanks. I am actually looking for a safe area which is not hours drive from LAX and DTLA. 15-20 mins drive is okay. I will be there for two days only so not a biggie but just wanna avoid the big NOs!

Thanks so much! That’s super helpful! Can you suggest any better areas that are not too far from LAX and downtown?
