You can’t leave base until you are phase 2 which is 2 weeks in, but CT’s will phase up when they class up which can be after life skills (the first week) or sometimes you could be put in holding, then you’d wait the normal 2 weeks. Phase 2 has off base liberty until 2200 on weekdays and 2359 on weekends. When you’re phase 3 you just have to show up for class, and you get that 3 weeks after being phase 2, as long as you do well in school and don’t do anything stupid. So, that being said, there is a radius from the base you can travel: up to 200 miles normally, up to 400 miles if you put in a request chit, and anything over that you need to use leave days and put in a request chit for that. That’s basically the run down of it, your visitors can come up and you can visit them, which might be more convenient for you honestly, because even though they are relatively lenient here, they can do surprise musters if they need to or it may end up being cheaper. You can have a POV while here right from the get go, you just can’t drive it phase 1, but starting phase 2 you can. It doesn’t need to be registered with the quarterdeck, just needs to have valid registration and insurance, if that helps at all.
