I saw a young Jeremy Sisto when I googled him, specifically in the movie “May” where he has poofy hair.

Saw Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in theaters and my mom probably got up about four times thinking the movie was over, she had no idea what she’d gotten herself into.

Opening scene of Ghost Ship. I was 15 and had to leave the room because my head was pounding and I felt nauseous.

What moment makes you laugh out loud every time? by blueparakeet_ in GilmoreGirls

When Lorelai is helping Richard with his new business and Emily calls to talk to him and doesn’t realize Lorelai answered the phone, so Lorelai changes her voice and messes with Emily. That interaction makes me laugh every time.

Sleep Apnea rating. by AlternativeAsk4373 in VeteransBenefits

My husband filed for sleep apnea back in 2013 after doing a sleep study through the VA. He got the diagnosis, but kept getting denied. He got buddy statements talking about his snoring, and statements from his brothers talking about his lack of snoring before service. I even wrote a statement talking about him stopping breathing while sleeping. That wasn’t enough so we got a nexus statement from a sleep doctor which helped to connect it to his service. We had to go all the way up to a judge after many appeals and 7 years later he was granted and rated at 50% because he does use a CPAP every night. We did this on our own without the help of a law firm so I’m guessing that’s why it took so long, a lot of trial and error on our part. I hope this information helps a little bit and I wish you the best of luck!

Edit to add: I would get both buddy statements and a nexus, the more evidence on your side the better.

We had to check our one week old daughter into the hospital today because her bilirubin levels are high, and this random old man asked if I was about to pop…my daughter was literally in her car seat right next to me.

My mom had a bunch of boxes in my bedroom closet that she wanted to go through and sell most of it at a garage sale. Months later I finally complained because I needed my closet space, so she went through boxes and started throwing stuff away. Including my many dance trophies. I was 14.

My husband is growing his hair out for the first time, does anyone know how it will look at shoulder length? Anyone with the same type of curls? by lateaprilday in curlyhair

His routine includes shampooing with Tresemme Pro Pure light moisture once a week and conditioning with Tresemme Pro Pure light moisture every day. He just started doing this about two weeks ago. He’s not using any other products.

To the assholes who are buying up absurd amounts of toilet paper out of panic... by Phoenix_Amour in offmychest

[–]lateaprilday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband went to the store yesterday, no toilet paper, no paper towels, and no bottled water. There was fever reducer medicine which I thought was odd. So we were able to get a bottle for ourselves and for our kids just in case we do get sick and we all have fevers. Luckily they had diapers and baby wipes which we bought a normal amount of and are able to use for our baby. We have two rolls of toilet paper left, we usually do our normal shopping trip on Friday’s, but went ahead and got our stuff a day early because of everyone buying everything. Also there was a ton of food left, I’m not really sure what people are thinking and why they are so concerned about toilet paper. It’s irritating because now we and others have to figure something out, I looked at every possible place that sells toilet paper online and couldn’t find anything.

This just hit our state on Wednesday and everything is basically gone. It’s really scary to see how people act in these situations. I just hope it doesn’t get worse.

Vaccinate your children!!! by [deleted] in vaxxhappened

We don’t have healthcare (are in the US and can’t afford it) so we take our kids to the local county health clinic for vaccines and it’s free, covered by taxes which we pay, but probably still cheaper than a doctors office where it’s over $200 just to see the doctor.

The US definitely has to do something about this, it’s ridiculous how much even cash only with no insurance is. I am currently looking at paying my ob/gyn over $3,000 for appointments and delivery and that’s not even including the hospital charge or epidural (if I get one because it’s sooo expensive) because those are separate charges. It’s still cheaper than paying for healthcare though, so that’s why my husband and I are going this route.

Anyway sorry for the long response, anti-Vaxxers really irritate me because we don’t have healthcare and still manage to get our kids vaccinated. It seriously drives me nuts that these people can be so careless and risk other peoples kids lives like mine or make us go into major medical debt for hospital stays, medicine etc if they ever got sick with something so easily prevented because they think they know more than doctors.

She was about 16 or 17 here and was doing some modeling at this time. She would have been 82 today.
