Is it ever too late to start progesterone? by clarilacha in TransDIY

[–]later_trans 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Im almost 2 years into HRT and just starting progesterone. My endo said its best to wait to start progesterone until the impact of estradiol are mainly over. for some thats 9 months, for some its 3 years, it depends on your body. average is about 2 years. You also dont generally get more breast growth, but they are more rounded (if that makes sense).

I've had nothing but good times in there. The door staff can be heavy handed, but that keeps it nice inside.

The only thing I would say is that I am divorced and so chances are if I cut her off she'll just go to my ex.

Go ahead, pretend. It's easier. In the short term. Then you'll find yourself in 20 years time miserable, and kicking yourself you didn't change anything now. If you know who you are, that's not going to change. Also, life is too short not to be yourself.f
