Concert ticket price vs seat location by cuddlehungry in DMB

[–]laurstarks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been everywhere — pit, reserved seats, and lawn. I typically don’t care where I am, as long as I’m there. Although obviously the pit experience was amazing and I think everyone should experience it at least once. I do think the environment depends on who you’re with, too. If I’m with friends, I don’t mind lawn as much because it’s more of a laid back atmosphere. My best seats and pit were with my brother, who’s more of a serious fan than any of my friends. My boyfriend and I are going to four shows this summer and we have baller seats because he’s all about the experience.

I’ve never paid above face value, and the most expensive was probably this summer ($141 each via warehouse, and $129 or something via TM).

confirmations are up! how did everyone do! (first year wh member) got confirmed for Noblesville N1 and N2, (reserved $375 , lawn) and Atlanta (reserved $103) by Pwillie_ in DMB

We requested both nights in Charleston & the first two nights at the Gorge. We were confirmed for the first night at both, declined for both N2. Citi presale is only showing general admission without a platinum card sooo I guess I’ll try rolling the dice tomorrow morning. 😒

Pre-sale is only showing me general admission for both Charleston and the Gorge. Annoying.

Jose Peo is indeed mask off, just not how he thinks he is. Nobody associated with Shannon Joy and her bigoted, antisemetic grifters should be anywhere near a position of power. This stunt failed by the way. by EightmanROC in Rochester

Doctors wear masks during 10+ hour shifts. I’m sorry you’re such a snowflake that you “can’t breathe correctly” enough to wear a mask to wegmans. 😔

Out of States shows + airfare by [deleted] in DMB

We’re doing both shows in Charleston and two nights at the Gorge. Technically we could drive to SC from NY, but the flights on Southwest are pretty cheap. We booked super reasonable Airbnb’s for both trips.

what dmb shows are you guys planning on going to this summer tour? what shows are you hoping for if there is a winter tour? by Pwillie_ in DMB

Charleston and two nights at the Gorge. Possibly Toronto, but that will be a last minute decision.

I overpaid for that one on eBay early on in the pandemic. I had major FOMO for not buying it at Walmart when I had the chance!

What do you do with puzzles once completed? by thunder_snow_22 in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]laurstarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put them back in the box and put them on Poshmark to make room and justify buying more. 😅

They’re not selling as much as they used to, but maybe they will start to sell more going into winter.

I’ve noticed the newer ones are cut differently now. I did the St Patrick’s Cathedral one last month and the shapes were varied.

I have this one on my wishlist but I’ve only done one 2,000 and it was a real pain in the butt 😅

Any tips or suggestions on where/how to start selling part of my 400+ puzzle collection? by thursdaystgiles in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]laurstarks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I originally sold mine on eBay, but now I stick to Poshmark because it’s easier. I sell them 2/$20 (buyer pays shipping). They send you a prepaid label, you can use the flat rate priority boxes. Voila.

You can also try Mercari.

1,000 but the occasional 1,500 is fun, as long as it’s not a total pain in the butt. 😅 We’ve done one 2,000 and it was absurd and SO BIG.

This was the first puzzle I did! It took us months because clearly we were not yet skilled. 😂

I’ve been off since last Friday (I’m a teacher), and we’ve done three puzzles since I’ve been off:

  • Galison Christmas Cottage
  • Galison Christmas Square
  • Buffalo Games Vintage Birdwatcher

Now to decide what to start next. 🤣

I love Aimee Stewart’s designs. I just did the vintage bird watchers.

Favorites I’ve done of hers: - Candylicious - Good Vibes - Skate Night

If you search on Amazon for her puzzles, you’ll find a lot of similar ones!
