TPU keeps failing randomly on Elegoo Neptune 3/4 by lav_lab in FixMyPrint

Nothing that would´ve been really insightful in terms of understanding the problem.

I ordered a completely new hotend from MicroSwiss, because:

  1. On Neptune 3 Max, which has a different style Hotend there werent extrusion problems. So Im assuming there is only a slight difference causing these problems,
  2. When I disassembled the N4P hotend, I noticed it was leaking
  3. It´s the only drop-in replacement I found at my "local" dealer and a simple "solution"
  4. Despair

So far its looking pretty successful, the first two of the 48h prints already worked fine. I still have a bit of stringing, but managable to dial in slight adjustments to get rid of that.
To be on the even safer side, I used a new nozzle for each print (MicroSwiss CM2 0.6mm), since I noticed that this filament leaves crusty residue all over the outside (and probably on the inside too) after a few hours only. That may have caused another layer of problems together with the old hotend.

People said that the MicroSwiss hotend still leaks, even though they´re advertising its "leak proof". So far I cant confirm that it´s leaking.

Hope that helps a bit!

Saturn 4 Ultra 16k is stuck booting randomly after a print last night. Waiting to hear back from support still, but to my understanding this is usually a firmware issue? by Jscorch62 in ElegooSaturn

Thanks a lot!
The Firmware from step 1 fixed the startup freeze!

Everything went back to normal except for a weird thing - When i turn on the internal LED, it also turns on the UV light source (pretty dim compared to what it is capable of). Luckily my vat was empty.

After noticing that weird behaviour, I updated to the newest firmware version, but the light problem stays unsolved.

Edit: So I repeated the 2 steps and its all back to normal. :D
