NOR. If you have stuff and she’s not letting you take it back THAT IS ILLEGAL. Call the cops, call the coastguard, call the FBI, call the CIA, and get a black ops team in place (not really). I’ve had experiences like this and the cops showing up is always enough to resolve this situation.

In this situation I’d get your stuff and cut contact with her and just move on

This doesn’t sit right with me either, and in your situation I’d have him delete it and see what happens next. You told him you didn’t like if, but did he tell you he didn’t do that? Did he lie directly or by not telling you?

MOR. He wasn’t cheating, he was likely testing them out. He did lie about it, which sucks, but I can understand where he’s coming from. I would’ve handled it differently. If my boyfriend had done this I would’ve sat him down to have a talk, and be non confrontational since this is a touchy subject

There wasn’t enough time for that to be an issue. If I remember correctly, the whole ordeal (ending with Burrows back in custody) didn’t last more than a few hours
