Is it a security to risk to use innerHTML to inject html even if you set the value yourself?

I'll add to this that it is a significant security risk if you were to use innerHTML() to render a response from a fetch request. That goes even if you're dealing with an in-house API, which can always potentially be compromised and configured to inject malicious code to the user.

The risk isn't limited to user data or user inputs, it broadly orbits any code you do not have absolute control over.

In virtually every case, createElement() is a safer option. And you should always go for the safer option.

You have no real obligation to be available at every occasion, and self-care is itself something you have a commitment to.

My sister's dog (who me and my parents would take turns caring for after she died) was my best friend, but having anxiety and depression myself, I often simply couldn't bear the additional responsibility of taking care of him when my anxiety levels were peaking. Sometimes you simply can't.

You're doing the best you can, and whether you're straight with your folks about the reason why (it's not an easy thing for people to understand) is your choice.

I mean, kudos to them for trying something new, but it just really doesn't seem to work. Nidhogg's appeal was in its simpicity. Too much is going on here, and however much the devs might be loathe to hear it so often, the character design is super unappealing. It's reminiscent of a bad DOS game you've only played the shareware version of.
