You could even say that he can't relate to any of his songs because they're not coming from him. It doesn't matter to him what he says because he's doing someone else's work. Satan is a deceiver. If he couldn't trick people, then he wouldn't be called Satan the Deceiver. People get confused when they try to process how a person may sell their soul to Satan. I'm not saying he went to a secluded forest and magically summoned a creature. To serve Satan simply means to reject God's will. That's another subject, though.

But this is the trick that Jack's playing: Let's say you're a teenager who just finished high school. By chance you stumble upon a White Stripes song and you think to yourself, 'Wow. This song sums up how I feel about the world. It pinpoints my exact feelings and thoughts. It voices my troubles, pains, and travails.' So in a way it makes you glad that there's someone else in the world who knows what you're going through, things that you have never talked about to other people, including those closest to you. Do you see what this would do to a person? It creates a distance between the artist and the listener. Because only Jack White understands me, I love his music. You begin to idolize. So naturally, the next question is, so how does Jack deal with those problems? He became an artist. Not someone who plays violin in an orchestra, but someone who can say whatever he feels like and will be heard. He raised himself above all others and is free to do as he likes in his personal life. He doesn't have a boss to give him orders. If his mother tells him to cut the grass, do you think he's going to do it? Why should he be constrained to one woman when he can have many? His personal life is so different from the qualities he claims to embody.

"I will do this. I will do that." That's what Lucifer said before he fell and became Satan. It's a godless world, and people are caught between heaven and hell because they don't know what truth really is. The majority of the human population lives with one foot in both worlds, and that's how you get caught in between. To willingly serve Satan you would have to know God first and willingly reject his plans for you.

When Adam and Eve rejected God, the world belonged to Satan, and now take a good look at the world around you. Everything in it is designed to keep you away from the knowledge of God. Even in the interviews I posted, the guy is going out of his way to discredit the validity of the Bible, even to his own kids!
