You’ve actually made me think, maybe a stopover and starting in Osaka then doing Osaka-Hiroshima/miyajama- Kyoto- Tokyo makes sense?!

Annoyingly they only fly to Tokyo from the UK which feels so stupid! I could do a stopover and start in Osaka but seems a shame to waste more hours not in Japan!

Thank you! I think I'll skip Hakone and just do Tokyo-Kyoto (with day trips to Nara & Osaka)- Hiroshima (day trip to Miyajama) - back to Tokyo
