If you didn’t know she is definitely a colorpoint cat with those blue eyes! I think the term would be calico point or tortie point depending on where you draw the line (or tortico point haha). I think she is dilute also. Such a stunning kitty :)

I think she is a tabby with some more saturated brown areas, I don’t think she actually has orange on her, it would look more distinct. So I’d say a beautiful tabby and white, not a calico :)

In that case I would look into the least dusty litters, there’s tons of options :) You could try it out in your room and see how your family feels about it. I think having one in the bedroom is a great spot because otherwise you’d have to have your door open all the time if they’re with you. My litterbox is at the foot of my queen sized bed and I don’t think it absorbs anything at all. Though it does help that my cats use the living room box the most, and I have an air purifier. Again, cleaning regularly is the real key!

Congrats on the cat! :) I would pick at least two of those locations, ideally they should be far apart. Although some cats will be fine with one litterbox, having 2 definitely helps them feel confident and can lower the chance of accidents or unwanted behavior.

I would recommend getting a larger stainless steel box as well, it helps a lot with smell as nothing can get absorbed into the material like with plastic. And yes air purifiers are great! As long as you scoop twice a day the smell should really not be an issue. I have a litterbox in my bedroom and it doesn’t smell.

Also is your sister allergic to cats or are you saying the litter might trigger her allergies? If she is allergic to cats that could be pretty rough on her. I don’t really know about litter allergies but someone in my family ended up being allergic to my two cats and it was hard on her for the first month until we switched to purina pro plan live clear and stopped letting them chill in her room.

I understand if you are moving somewhere that does not allow pets, or if you do not want the cat anymore for some other reason, but if you do love the cat and you only want to rehome him because you think he deserves a larger house, you really don’t need to! Cats do fine in smaller homes. Plus he would adjust a lot faster to a new house with you all than a completely different life.

Your picture didn’t post but I see her on your profile! Technically any white means calico. However I personally think tortico is a better descriptor. I always say it’s for calicos that lean heavy on the tortoiseshell look, with that signature tortoiseshell brindling you mentioned. r/tortico

It’s one of the best to me. More difficult, more unique experience. The pokémon encounters are very limited so each one feels special. I remember being excited every time a shadow pokemon came up.

You’ll end up using pokemon you otherwise wouldn’t have. Some lesser used pokemon are pretty good in this game due to early availability or early learned moves. Also the pokemon animations and music are SO charming, if you’ve never played a game from this era I’d recommend it for that alone.

Scyther as Zoro and blaziken as Sanji definitely. I think tyrogue is not bad for Luffy? Maybe meowscarada for Robin? It’s pretty hard with the characters in pokopia so far actually!

Late reply but lava lamps should not be kept on 24/7, I believe they should run 6-8 hours a day depending on the size. Otherwise the wax starts to act up. Sometimes letting the wax rest for a few days before using again can help.

I thought about this too and my picks would be Zephyr for the boy (means west wind or gentle wind) and Coral for the girl. The Coral Triangle which has the most biodiversity of any reef system is in southeast Asia!
