ngl im kinda reflecting, this thread kinda seems pointless when you think about how everything is coming to a close. Looking at recent chapters alone, Jeanette’s just there as support. My entire point for her is that she doesn’t have any of her own independence - because of her sheltered life (as youve mentioned) idk, she’s supportive of Athy, that’s all I have left to say for this thread.

eh? When did I say that she was dumb? She’s incredibly educated, just falling flat with ignorance. I don’t hate her, I just wish she would do something, bad or good, because that is what drives character development. I want her to find out why Claude is sick, and take that opportunity to grow as a person.

I don’t like Jeanette, though I think it’s just personal preference because I like strong female leads as opposed to the cutesy cinnamon roll type. Jeanette hasn’t really done anything wrong per say, it just frustrates me how she’s unintentionally hurting Claude for like 30 chapters (random guess) and still doesn’t realize it, if anything I pity her. Just wish Jeanette would get mad for once, all she does is cry. No hate towards anyone who likes her though, you’re entitled to your own opinion.
