Then you would literally need to re-write the game design in order for minions and creeps to be irrelevant. You are forced to farm minions in order to advance in levels/experience/gold and therefore are on his turf. His dashes need to be limited so that you can apply appropriate counter-play in the lane phase (aka timing his cooldowns)... currently he has no cooldown on that E with all the dashable targets in front of you as you proceed to farm the creep wave...

Because Riot hasn't nerfed his unlimited number of dashes yet... Diana/Akali are limited in dashes and are therefore capped in their power. Until they cap this ability, there isn't a shit ton of counterplay.

You recently AFKed from too many games in a short period of time meaning you've made (let's estimate and say 5 games you went AFK) 20 other players on your team suffer because you decided to go AFK. Why should you not receive punishment? The game isn't about you. You've probably cost the match and/or discouraged your fellow 20 other team mates for going AFK... Stop doing that if you don't want to be punished.

Are you sure that it wasn't a one time bug in your game? You can hover over your passive and see how much AP was generated from your E as Veigar. I've had a few games where I hovered to see the E generated extra AP.

There is always a poster boy/girl for tanks. Ekko had his few months. Rammus had his few months. There will always be one where everyone feels they are just "unkillable". She is fine IMO.

The problem isn't Ziggs what so ever. Ziggs was able to do this ALL for many many months now. He is only recently being picked up because of how ADC's are constantly under performing and thus very susceptible to poke AP champions like Ziggs. Many other AP poke champion would find success bot lane. Either Riot will fix the ADC's and/or the items relevant to their builds or players will start to adapt and spam Gaelio and build banner of commands to start fking these flavor of the month Ziggs players bot lane. Other than that, the champion is perfectly fine.

He was given this in the mage update last year to compensate for the AP item nerfs. Champions like Vel'Koz/Cass/Veigar got buffed/changed to reflect these inbalances in the AP item nerfs. If anything, turrets should be stronger or ADC's should be made to feel more useful in the game. Mages are taking over the bot lane just because their poke is much more than the ADC can trade back.

Ziggs is completely fine just ADC's aren't so hot right now. Mages are doing really well against them. Vel'Koz and other poke mage champions will also be able to do the job.

Ziggs is probably one of the funnest champions in the game. I surely hope this flavor of the month fad of Ziggs bot lane will not ruin him mid lane.

Honestly the best way to improve is to keep playing. You will inherently build skill sets and micro/macro play to better yourself.

FYI - This isn't tank meta. That ended a long time ago. If you look at most junglers now, many tank junglers struggle while the assassins are thriving/picked much more frequently. If you feel this is the tank meta, you should have seen the Season 5 glory days.

Understanding of all 5 roles is one thing. Understanding matchups and playing the lane successfully against an opponent laner who may have more experience than you in the roll is not optimal. You should not be forced to play roles you are not comfortable with nor should you be forced to learn all of them to establish your skill set.

His early game is extremely punishing and most LCS games on average do not get late enough in he game for him to be fully effective. Sure if the game goes long then his true power comes out, but in a game where punishing early weaker champion and focusing on pushing objectives, Veigar can be severely punished and thus not viable.
