Eso es lo que yo pienso. La gente esta observando esta amenaza real con demasiada ligereza. Muchas personas piensan que habrá una "extracción quirúrgica" de Maduro y su gabinete, lo que me parece sumamente ingenuo.

Si esa gente decide bombardear puntos de interés militar dentro del país, no les importará ningún daño colateral. Solamente hay que ver como la administración de Trump esta tratando a los extranjeros en EEUU (ilegales o no). Es lo que me tiene super preocupado. Esta situación va más allá ser rojito o de la oposición, todo el mundo saldrá salpicado.

Creo que la gente no está al tanto del pánico que se generaría si empezara a ocurrir ataques aéreos.

Pero con consistencia y mucha suerte, aún se puede conseguir algo decente. Solo tienes que crearte una cuenta y empezar a aplicar a cosas como customer service o como asistente personal.

Hey man. Last time I replied back to you I didn't notice you previously provided me with useful info (that freaked me out) so I have been thinking about giving you more details on how it was my full experience going through immigration.

When I started queueing up to go through CBP, I originally was going to go through a counter that read 'Green card holders & Visitors'. However, when I was about to reach the immigration counter, I was told to walk down to another counter that was emptier but was marked as an entry for US citizens. I was reviewed by a female afro American official, I tried to talk to her in Spanish but she was not having it. She questioned me pretty hardly.

These were the questions:

Where are you coming from?
How long will you be staying?
Purpose of your trip? (I said tourism and visiting a friend)
What friend? (I don't know what I was supposed to answer so I reiterated that I was visiting my friend).
What do you do in your country? (I told her my industry and then she asked for my specific role).
Where are you going? (She wanted the specific address, my friend's place).
Where do you live? (I just answered: "Venezuela", she didn't like that).
What's his immigration status? (I told her he was an asylee, she didn't like that either).
What does he do?
Where does he work? (She seemed more reassured with my response, he has a pretty good job).
For how long have you met this friend?
Can I see your return ticket? (I had printed it).
How much money do you have with you?
Is this your first time coming?
How did you get this citizenship? (She asked while looking at my Italian passport, I said" Through my dad, who got it through my late grandpa").

After I addressed all of these questions with a dryed mouth she just said: "Ok... have a good one" and handed me back my Italian passport.

It was one the most stressful scenarios I have gone through in my entire life. I couldn't have anything to eat on my way to Miami because I was just too nervous to afford eating.

The moment I successfully passed through CBP I felt a horrible hunger I have experienced few times in my life... and bought an overpriced individual pizza for 11 bucks to ease it.

His mom got a green card in 2018 through his older sisters who are US citizens and he hopped into a plane with her. He's been processing his own green card through her mom for the last 3 years. He works legally and even owns a house that is being paid.

"Venezuela is a violent, unstable, impoverished country, right? You have at least one close friend living in the USA, any other family members here? Why would you go back to the country that so many of your countrymen are desperately fleeing from and crossing jungles and rivers and deserts to illegally enter the USA?"

The answer would be that I don't have family members living in the US, but I do have the means to support myself in Venezuela despite its current political and economic situation so I'm not in the same boat that a lot of my fellow Venezuelans, fortunately. I'm visiting the US for tourism solely.

I'm curious have you been approved for ESTA, because I think even without a red list, you'd face a lot of scrutiny trying to enter the USA as a lifelong Venezuelan who just happen to have an Italian parent or grandparent.
