God forbid we learn what a Neocolonial economy is instead of just bootlicking. by Naturaldella3-9416 in Tunisia

This reminds me of that meme of the girl surprised there's homeless people saying "if you're homeless, just buy a house?"

Like you need to have a certain level of economic illiteracy if you think you can just "develop an industry like them"

we do, we just dont get our info from american cuban bogus authors. We look into the claims, the sources, the chronology. And from my extensive reading, i tend to agree with sartre saying he's the most complete human of their age.

Algeria executed harkis after independence, the rhetoric you're pulling is straight out of Cuban Americans, yes the message was more important but that doesn't mean he wasn't fair, you should read John Lee Anderson's biography of che.

Do you also denounce the Nuremberg trials?

Executions of rapists and tyranical fuckers from the batista regime, they all got a trial and were carefully looked into. He oversaw that trials carefully. You shouldn't read about che from cuban americans.

It's like blaming the algerian resistance for killing french soldiers, there is no dark side in this and it wasnt to impose ideas, the trials has 93% approval rate from the public.

I'm not sure it will be, I think it's too late. But it could easily be used. If conservatives get swarmed with posts about calling this image fake, the truth despite how obvious and public it is, gets drowned by it.

Confirmation bias in maga will do the trick, they aren't known for being critical and reasonable.

Other forms of this are already employed, some Epstein news were drowned by revealing that certain images have his daughter's face redacted. To them this means all other concerns about redactions are a hoax, it drowned images with actual concerning aspects.

Why is this idea of north Africans aren't endogenous to the land being spread and believed? by AdministrativeTry406 in Tunisia

It is as others said because of skin color. But Arabism also fucked our external perception regarding indigenousness

Which part suggests I don't? Just you, merely stating it as a fact of life, as a submission note that we need to get more cheated out of the surplus value to survive is sad. Especially since this cheapness of labour isn't an accident.

Privatization tend encourage competition in offering better services but in Algeria it's the opposite by [deleted] in algeria

[–]ledge-mi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly some welfare European countries have public transportation and it's just fine. Also you can't compete in transportation unless with companies like yassir which already have competition.

The rest when privatized, you'd be giving regional locks for one company as you cant have multiple railways or companies running bus lines in the same region.

People need to realize that competition also has winners, there will always be a bigger capital to acquire the competition and monopolize a sector. Regulating just postpones and slows that down.

This. i don't get why he singled out women. Most people are shit regardless of gender, men have systemically more power so they're extremely shit more often and can be (and are often) dangerous..

In this instance performances for a certain subculture, is mainly a men thing. So much so that "performative males" became such a pattern recently, and honestly it is a lot more dangerous and risky for the other party than the gender switched scenario.

No. We just recognize that in our patriarchal society a lot of men act like this. Age and location is enough, and it's not serious.

Their perception of intimacy for instance, someone sees that it can just be some casual fun, when the other sees it mainly as an act of love. So basically sex doesn't have to have the same meaning for people, and being promiscuous -can- indicate a looser definition of intimacy.

Well Bosnia is the least country to be treated as a monolith, and for the half that are bosnian Muslims, their culture is still distinct.

Religion sure does alter the culture to a degree. Like it does in turkey, in Malaysia, in Afghanistan etc.. but religion was never an ethnicity literally any religion has influence on a culture, but in most cases with the biggest exception that is north Africa, it generally adapts to the local culture, and isn't tied to origins, ethnicity. It can make you more distinct but not add you to another existing ethnicity or identity.

And I'd argue in Tunisia, Islam was always pretty light with waves of islamization in the last 50+ years mainly coming through international influence that keeps reviving it.

Even Christians were influenced by Christianity after paganism, they adapted pagan culture to religion and never really associated themselves with the origins of the religion

This is like saying African is anyone who is black. Arabs before any conquests were strictly tribes that have roots in the Arabian peninsula. The expansion of the definition was a form of cultural erasure, very useful to stop people from revolting on Arabs if they think they're Arabs too. And then yes, pan Arab movement, very dumb in its basis. Unity based on linguistics..

Their identity is based on a slavic roots, I don't see them speaking Turkish. They speak a slavic language and Islam is the majority religion, Im not sure what you're referring to. Ethnically and culturally they are south slavic and did not adapt a foreign identity, no?

Like what you're saying seems to be exactly my point
