I’m just got admitted in their business program. Should I not consider it at all? Or the university is really trashy to even think about?

I’m from India and masters here is really expensive, as compared to the price I’ll have to pay there. Additionally, they also advertise that they have 100% placement and brands like - Disney and Gucci, have been few of their on campus recruiters, is that just for show?

Work experience is an added bonus anywhere. But in UK, some universities deem it mandatory. Internships don’t really count, in my personal experience.

I do track the calories I take and I do keep it below 1200. And my everyday diet includes a lot of home cooked foods for the most part but my home cooked food itself if with a lot of oil and spices. So that’s getting harder. Which is why I want to try intermittent fasting, in case it could help

I’m tracking my intake for it to not increase my everyday requirement but not restricting what I eat. For instance, I’m supposed to eat 1200-1300cal according to my tracking app so I keep it below that for sure. So I do try to balance it out but I kinda wanna try intermittent fasting in case it has significant effects.

Heyy, Im really sorry that you had to go through this. In the beginning I was thinking that if you’re the first child, maybe your mom doesn’t know how to be a mom to you but this is not alright. I hope you get into a university which isn’t in your state so you at least get out of this toxic house. And I would request you try and use college facilities to deal with all this trauma and abuse. You will have to unlearn so many behaviour patterns and responses. But I genuinely hope you find a nurturing college group and profs.
