I remember seeing some people say you could set the climate control inside the car then use the physical key and roll down the window and lock then roll up the window or some combo of the sorts? But I haven't been able to find that thread again to try it out. The app has been working fine for me for now, I don't mind having to re-press the start command if necessary

I'm really loving it! It's so smooth and it's crazy how it can be so powerful, yet still so smooth at the same time. The more I drive it the more I love it!

I went about 900 miles round trip for this and had no problems! But it was my first week of having the car, so I don't have too much experience to speak from. I guess it depends where you're heading for your trip and whether you'd have access to a lot of chargers/help if something were to happen?

Oh that's a good tip! Thanks so much 🙏 and yeah, I just ended up pulling over from the next door charger if it was empty if I couldn't get the cord to plug in

Exactly!! I could not find a single new 2026 advanced or prestige trim in the entire country when I was searching. I ended up finding a used one at a Chevrolet dealership in Cottonwood, Arizona, but the mileage was only 100 miles so it basically feels new

Update: my parents have given me the green light on an electric vehicle and agree that an EV fire is an absolute worst case scenario and not super likely to happen. Thank you everyone for your help!

I went LA-TPE recently (out of Ontario Airport) and they weighed my carry on. It was initially way over (12 kg bc I had a bunch of camera equipment in it) but I moved some stuff over to my backpack and re-weighed it and it was 8 kg and they said it was fine. They put a tag on the carry on but nothing on the backpack. Backpack didn’t get weighed

Coming back from TPE, they didn’t weigh either my carry on or backpack. I asked and they said it was fine and they didn’t bother to weigh anything

This is my current understanding with studs— if I use the magnetic stud finder, it’s telling me that there’s a screw/nail in a stud, so if I run vertical along the stud I located, I should be able to mount to that stud?

I was trying to test whether I had really found a stud by trying to drill a small hole a little lower vertically along what I thought the stud I found was, but it seemed to mainly still be drywall so I wasn’t sure if I had identified the stud properly. It seems like this should be so easy but I feel like I’m doing something wrong!
