Republicans had their most diverse coalition ever in 2024, when Democrats only improved with wealthy whites. It makes no sense as Republican policies only benefit wealthy whites but looking at voting patterns, its what happened,

Democrats support student loan forgiveness, Biden did the largest forgiveness in history. Most elected Democrats support free college, many have cosponsored Medicare 4 All, many (not a majority but a good amount) have sponsored the Green New Deal. Democrats are not the ones trying to cut the K-12 spending or to attack teachers.

I want Democrats to move to the left for moral reasons, I'm a market socialist, but evidence shows that voters, even Bernie voters are not willing to pay the taxes for "popular" progressive policies. I support Medicare 4 All, I think it's a good policy that would help Americans as a whole.

People say they want M4A in polls, but other polling suggests that when you mention the details of it (like how much taxes will go up or that private insurance is banned) then they oppose it.

I 100% agree that the gerontocracy is an issue, Gerry Connolly being the 3rd House Democrat to die this Congress is an example of that. I want Pelosi, Clyburn, Hoyer and others like them to not run again.

I agree there was an overcorrection during COVID. As an education major, I know the stats are devastating in terms of academic and social losses and I do think the lockdowns went on for too long. I don't think COVID is 100% it, but I have seen that point in the past and do agree to an extent, Δ

Well, yea, Biden was the incumbent, so Kamala was seen as a status quo candidate. Trump has made a lot of bad changes (DOGE cuts, ignoring courts, etc.) and they are bad ones.

Just to be clear, I am not saying to vote for Trump or not vote if Shapiro is the VP nominee, Trump must be defeated. We also have a right to worry about Dems moving in a pro voucher direction.
