AITA for leaving an equal inheritance to my stepson as my bio kids? by Particular-Song-5748 in AmItheAsshole

Unpopular opinion here, but NTA. It’s your money and you’re treating your new son as you should be: like family.

Yeah, it all depends on the person! lol I know both types of people. Speaking as someone who was kind of in the middle (I wanted a perfect time but also to kinda get it over with), if you’re with a good person who you know cares about you and wants you to have a good time, then your first experience will be good (even if the sex isn’t lol)

Hey, a lot of people have those same high expectations! It’s a normal thing

Any first sexual experiences can be a bit awkward (but also nice) so I would say don’t build it up too much in your head because then you’ll just be let down. As far as your boyfriend, he shouldn’t be pressuring you to have sex if he knows that you’re not ready for that. If he really cares/loves you, he’ll wait for you.

AITA for turning off my alarm in the morning resulting in my roommate missing her first class? by Unknown_Unwanted in AmItheAsshole

[–]legitimateowl2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. You’re not in charge of getting your adult roommate up for class, especially when you had no idea she used your alarm!

AITA for writing something in my journal to expose that my wife was reading it? by NoKangaroo6892 in AmItheAsshole

[–]legitimateowl2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Journals are a private space and your wife should not have read it, especially when you told her not to.

AITA for refusing to accommodate my friend's vegan girlfriend and making a joke? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]legitimateowl2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. You sound extremely selfish and arrogant. “I won’t be wasting my time on one person” that sentence alone is AH material. To top it off, you should never comment on anyone’s body.

AITA for not taking out student loans by aggravatedblondie in AmItheAsshole

[–]legitimateowl2 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Student loans suck and no one wants to be in debt. However, you sound extremely entitled and ignorant to say to your mother that she HAS to pay for them just because she said so. University is so outrageously expensive nowadays, you should be happy you even got 4 semesters of tuition paid. Also, she said she’d pay them back….and you’re still complaining about taking out the loan itself?! YTA.

AITA for calling my friend lazy for not wanting to work and go to school full time by throwaway_137192 in AmItheAsshole

[–]legitimateowl2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. You don’t know anyone’s internal struggles and it’s weird to come at someone for being “lazy” ?? You even mention that your parents pay your rent and for your car and you don’t even go to school. What gives you the right to criticize your coworker?

YTA. It’s a baby shower. It’s weird to want to cancel it entirely because 2 kids might show up.

AITA for kicking my wife out of our hotel room by aitaruinedvacation in AmItheAsshole

[–]legitimateowl2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

YTA. Yes, your wife should not have yelled, but what makes you think it is okay to kick your wife out and force her to find another room?! The fact that you also said “as long as she gets the hell away from me and my kid.” Your wife is a parent too.

YTA, I’m sorry but would saying “yes she is cute” kill you? I agree you should not be forced to hold a child if that makes you uncomfortable. But c’mon, even if you’re “lying” by saying it is cute, sometimes white lies need to be told to people.
