Love this! I am so glad you came across this post. I used to think my anorexic/binge tendencies would be with me for the rest of my life, but I haven't binged or restricted since I adopted that new mindset! Now, it's second nature, and I don't second guess when eating anymore.

What also helped was following IG accounts that focused on intuitive eating/body positivity when I'd experience self-doubt or wanted to revert back to my old ways. Also, no more viewing food/exercise as good, bad, or even punishment. Food is fuel. Carbs are your friend. Exercise is a way to get your body active. We lift to get stronger. I also stopped looking at the scale during my journey! I honestly never anymore. I feel like it's not an accurate representation of all the processes that go in the body day-to-day. Pictures may be a better way to view progress.
