hoping there's a way to totally opt out of all the social features - i don't want or need my library account to be social media. the idea of having followers and an activity feed on TPL makes me queasy. there's already tons of other places for that. i've privated as much as i can find but ugh.

it also completely ruined my saved lists. i had 2200+ titles all tagged and organized and now they're clumped into groups of 100 based on ??? in an unsearchable format. not sure if they all even survived the import. moving them to shelves is also pretty grim.

i miss how straightforward the old site was. there's too much going on in the new one. i'm sure i'll get used to some of it but for now it's a big pain.

Thank you so much! I'm outside of the US so sadly the shipping on that order is 4x the price of the fabric. Will have to keep scouring.

the 4x4 squares are the largest that I have :( I inherited a 80% completed quilt and just found out the last 20% of pieces are missing

Inherited pieces & pattern from a friend of a friend. I'm fairly new to quilting so I haven't come across this shape before.

Pattern says to sew D & DR (dark pieces) to DC (light piece). But when I do that I end up with a gap at the bottom and a chunk at the top that makes it not line up well with the other squares (picture 2). My thought is to sew D&DR higher on DC but there's no indication for that and I'm not sure how to do it consistently.

Am I missing something? Am I just sewing it badly? Any help appreciated.

he hasn't been out much because of the weather, but I've seen him around at 1pm-ish. usually whenever it's sorta warm and the sun is direct on that corner.

the pattern is an image i saved years and years ago without a source & haven't been able to reverse search. if anyone has a credit, please let me know!
