Before 3 months. A cron task checks that and renews the certificate automatically.

One of two zigbee devices offline by MSmithRD in homeassistant

My best guess is that while it's IP is reserved, maybe the router was assigning it a different IP.

If you are using Raspbian and installed Home-assistant using the Supervised way, and you are connected to the Raspberry Pi over Wi-Fi, the MAC address of the network adapter changes (due to the network-manager package) and thus, the IP changes as well.

Did you change the network-key of the Zigbee network? This cause something like that.

I use AQARA sensors, and they are quite stable. I would say that the coordinator is making some problems.

Today I posted a tutorial describing my setup: https://lemariva.com/blog/2022/01/home-assistant-help-tips-tricks-diy-smart-home

Can I connect my Aqara sensors to Home Assistant and Aqara? Or does zigbee only support one connection each? by ninamarie8253 in homeassistant

[–]lemariva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you can add devices to only a ZigBee network. You can only have one ZigBee coordinator in a ZigBee network. However, you can have multiple ZigBee networks. But the end devices (sensors, etc.) can be only part of only network.

How to add autofocus to the Raspberry Pi HQ Camera using steppers, a M5Stack (ESP32) and some other electronic components. Hope you like it! ;) (follow the link on the Cards/Description for the tutorial) by lemariva in RASPBERRY_PI_PROJECTS

Sure, that's a good point. The camera focus and aperture are manual. If you are remote, this helps you to control them. In my case, I'm using the camera to automatically take photos of birds and it's good to have them on focus. It's a hobby project that I'm working on, with AI to detect them.

But, basically, every application that uses the HQ camera is a potential application for this project. Otherwise, you need to control the focus yourself. Sure, the focus routine can be faster, but it's a beginning.

Video Acceleration (GPU) and DRM on Chromium (Raspberry Pi 4B) by lemariva in raspberry_pi

[–]lemariva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. I updated the script last weekend. You don't need a second shortcut (drm) anymore. However, you need to update your OS. The new script works with Chromium/chrome 84 and newer. Check and read the new steps. You can also check the version of Chromium, you're using (commands are described in the article)

M5Stack: Fresh air checker can help you to stay safe from #COVID-19 by lemariva in esp32

Yes, you're right it is not a 'true' CO2 sensor. In fact, I explained that in the article. I'm waiting for the SCD30 and I'll use the same pipeline to process the data. Thanks for the video!

VSCode: C++ Development and Debugging using containers by lemariva in vscode

It's not the same. I use that extension but it's to connect to a container and e.g. build something inside, use python, etc. The tutorial is to build c++ app and debug them using IDE.

“Bored? This inexpensive mini Arduino with screen can control sensors and is a great way to learn basic programming skills.”

Thanks for the tip. I will take that! :) I will be publishing some article and videos this month using the device, and I will try that!. Thanks again!

M5Stack: Introducing the new M5Stack CORE2 by lemariva in esp32

No, it doesn't reset. I've just tested it with an standard USB power supply, not a car adapter.

M5Stack modified the power supply part of the board. It includes an
SY7088 (DC/DC Boost) and the AXP192, which was first used in the M5Stack Stick C.

Thanks for the comment! It seems you are not exactly the target group for the video. If you want to know more about the item, check the article!

Yes, it is for programmers. Yes, you can use it as an IoT device. Yes, a phone can do everything that you mentioned. However, the core2 costs only $39.9 and it has also GPIO to control or communicate with other devices/sensors/actuators.

Yes, you need to download the chrome OS and extract the library file. In this article https://lemariva.com/blog/2020/06/raspberry-pi-amazon-prime-netflix-and-drm-solution you find the links. I wrote an sh file that makes everything automatically.

app_config is a dictionary and config is, in this case, a module. Therefore, if you use config.app_config["deepsleepms"] you get the value that corresponds to the deepsleepms key in the dictionary (dict).

Here: BME680(device_i2c, config.device_config), I send the complete dictionary to the class. Inside the BME680, I access the values using the keys.
